They Came From Microfilm
I stumbled upon some cool odds and ends that I wanted to share with y’all. These are some horror movie advertisements from the 70s and early 80s from local Tampa papers. It’s amazing to see how lurid the old taglines were. My favorite ones are the horror matinées. As the “grindhouse” movie experience becomes more and more celebrated lately, I can’t help but imagine how badass it was for folks to be able to attend little events like these at their local drive-ins and trashy dive theaters. Good stuff.
